Creating wellbeing communities
A 1-day or half-day workshop presented by Dr Matt Fisher

Matt is the author of How to Create Societies for Human Wellbeing. He has worked for 15 years in university research focused on public health strategies to improve health and wellbeing in Australia. Previously, Matt worked for 10 years in community housing services.
These workshops assist organisations aiming to improve wellbeing in the communities they serve. They are suitable for local governments, primary health networks or community-based organisations interested in promoting wellbeing.
The workshops offer information in clear, plain language and group exercises to share experiences and identify practical strategies. All workshops will cover:

Half-Day Workshop
3.5 – 4 hours, including breaks

The content of these unique wellbeing workshops has been developed by Dr Matt Fisher and Mr Brendan Kelly.
Matt is the author of How to Create Societies for Human Wellbeing published with Policy Press. He has worked for 15 years in university research focused on public health strategies to improve health and wellbeing in Australia. Prior to that, Matt worked for 10 years in community housing services.
Brendan has worked for over 15 years in government, leading policy, education, and projects focused on equity, inclusion, and social justice. Working across sectors and systems, he has supported people experiencing social exclusion and distress, including those in justice systems, institutional care, and homelessness. Now in local government, Brendan leads efforts to build more connected, inclusive communities.
